The Workshop Shopping Centre together with the eThekwini Municipalities Durban Fashion Fair hosted a briefing to all emerging fashion designers and fashion students to encourage them to enter a challenging and unique competition that will require them to make a garment in 120 minutes.
The “live garment design challenge” is open to those who believe they have what it takes to create a winning outfit in just the two hours that will be allocated. The competition will be taking place at the centre on Saturday, September 14th and forms part of the City’s continuous drive to develop and promote the clothing and textile industry.
