The countdown has officially begun for Prince William and Kate Middelton’s third royal baby!

No, Kate hasn’t gone into labour yet and she hasn’t even checked into the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital, where she is expected to give birth either!

However, the hospital in Paddington, London, has started preparing for the arrival of the new prince or princess by setting up barriers outside their exclusive Lindo Wing.

Parking restrictions have also been put up outside the hospital.

According to the sign erected outside the hospital, vehicles are restricted from parking outside Lido Wing from 9 to 30 April – a three-week period, reports Metro UK.

Kensington Palace announced that William (35) and Kate (36) are expecting their third child in April.

Although an exact due date wasn’t given, these new developments at the hospital suggest the Duchess of Cambridge is ready to give birth any day now.

When Kate goes into labour she’ll be cared for in the private wing of the hospital where Prince George and Princess Charlotte were born, too.

According to Daily Mail, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge won’t know whether they’re having a boy or a girl until the baby is delivered.

During routine scans William and Kate didn’t ask if they’d be welcoming a son or daughter, opting to be surprised as with their previous pregnancies.
