Singer Akwaboah who appeared on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz show on Monday failed to answer a question on his contract with Sarkodie.
The musician developed cold feet when he was asked by the host of the show Andy Dosty about whether he was still with the Sarkcess record label.
Rumours circulating among industry players suggest the talented songwriter no longer works with Sarkodie after his contract with him reportedly expired.
Akwaboah has, however, failed to confirm or deny the rumour when he was presented with the opportunity.
He rather told Andy Dosty: “Me [sic] and Sark we are still very cool; we talk a lot. We have things we have in place and I think at the right time, we will come out. I can’t be ahead of what we are doing. It will be very unfair if I say anything”.
Meanwhile, Akwaboah’s latest Gangsta Love music video wasn’t released under Sarkodie’s record label on YouTube but the Hye Me Bo singer, reacting to an enquiry on that said: “It can be on my page or on his page. The contract is flexible. Sarkodie doesn’t like pressure and will let you do whatever you want”.
