Kesha penned an emotional letter to her 18-year-old self revealing the hardships she has faced to get where she is now.

The Tik Tok hitmaker starts off by saying she has some good news and some bad news.

“We’ll start with the good news… You made it!”

Kesha then continues to share the bad news. “The bad news is you nearly killed yourself on the road to success, fuelled by fear of failure, crippling anxiety and insecurity.”

In a video shared on CBS Good Morning, Kesha reads the letter, opening up about her struggle with bulimia and anorexia. She also advises herself to “skip the comment section” completely when using social media.
